WHAT TO EXPECT
In every class at EYS, you will experience the teachings of yoga in a different way. All classes will include time in the beginning to center, yoga poses in the middle, and close with a deep rest. Some classes will offer meditation, breathing practices, and affirmations/mantra recitation. Depending upon your experience, you can expect gentle to moderate physical exertion in most of our classes.
We believe that these practices done often are life -changing and we can't wait to share them with you.
All EYS teachers hold a 500-hour RYT and Trauma Informed Yoga certificate and have additional specialty certifications in areas including pre-natal, yoga therapy, and more.
An inclusive class that's suitable for those who have some yoga experience and those who want to develop their knowledge and understanding of yoga.
There is a wide range of styles within the yoga tradition and the class will reflect the teacher and their yoga background.

Open + Meditation
An inclusive yoga class suitable for those who have some yoga experience and those who want to develop their knowledge and understanding of yoga. iRest Yoga Nidra is a meditation practice based on ancient yogic teachings but made accessible for modern-day life. iRest can be practiced by anyone, regardless of whether you are a lifelong meditator or if you have never tried meditation before. Each class will include self-inquiry, gentle movement, and iRest meditation.

Looking to fuse your workout with mindfulness? This class is which the breath is coordinated with the move
ment and the movements or postures are linked together in a continuous flow. The system is known for its strong yet fluid approach to yoga, in which strength, agility and flexibility are developed with continued practice. This class invites experienced practitioners to engage with their practice with deeper level of conscious embodiment. Advanced poses may be on the offered, but not necessarily.
Some yoga experience is helpful.
